The Litany for the Poor Souls in Purgatory is a powerful prayer of intercession that asks God to pour out His infinite mercy upon the holy souls being purified in Purgatory. Through this Catholic prayer, we call upon the name of Jesus and ask for His comfort, mercy, and deliverance for these souls—including our deceased parents, relatives, friends, and those who may be forgotten or especially in need of our prayers.
